The main word that comes to mind in describing Rev. Andrew Penhorwood is integrity; integrity to the Word of God, in dealing with people and in all aspects of Ministry. This characteristic is woven into every area of his life.

He was born on October 31, 1965 in Weatherford, Texas, to a truck driver and a housewife. Living in rural Texas, then rural Ohio most of his life he grew up developing his talents and abilities by helping his neighbors. In 1984 he joined the U.S. Air Force and served for 6 years. It was during this time that his brother Troy Penhorwood, also in the U.S. Air Force, passed away due to a drowning accident. This had a profound effect on him in that death became a reality. Until this time he did not believe the Word of God, but now he began to wonder if what the Bible teaches was true. While stationed in Okinawa, Japan, he started to attend a Full Gospel church pastored by an American Missionary. There the love of God gripped his heart until he had to have whatever these people possessed. On August 24, 1988 he was born again and filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. He sensed the call of God almost immediately and began to prepare for ministry.

After leaving the military he spent a short time in Ohio with family and then moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. He graduated in 1993 and moved back to Ohio where he worked in the local church teaching membership classes, baptism classes and prayer classes. From 1995 to 1998 he served as an associate pastor and an interim pastor. During all of this time in training and ministry he maintained a career in computers, from computer technician, mainframe operator to programmer and manager of an Internet Service Provider.

In 1999 he moved back to Tulsa with the idea of helping ministries associated with Rhema. He started to help Rev. David Lindstrom with his work in Guyana. Rev. Lindstrom was starting a bible school on the border of Guyana and Brazil. In 2000 he left his web programming job at MicahTek, Inc. and started teaching at Word of Faith Bible School in Bonfim, Brazil. A year later he found himself once again working for MicahTek as their lead web programmer but missions and Brazil was in his heart. God used this time back in the States for further training and to establish solid ties to Father's House Church in Tulsa. At Father's House he oversaw their Spanish speaking I.S.O.M. Bible School and worked as an usher. In 2002 he returned to the mission field and full time missions work.

In 2005 Rev. Penhorwood relocated to the States and currently serves as the Associate Pastor of Ashland Faith Fellowship.
